It’s been a while since we last talked. So let’s catch up on what’s been going on with me! I have been letting the fear of “what if” hold me back, if I’m being honest. I’ve always been an adventurous person, but sometimes that little voice in my head tries to take control.
I wrote a journal entry about where I thought I would be at thirty versus where I am currently at thirty-one. It was good to reflect on the things I’ve accomplished and how proud I am of the woman I’m becoming.

I hope she’s proud of the woman I’m becoming….
This blog is about not letting fear hold you back. As I’m writing this, I am also talking to myself. Take the trip, quit the job, make the leap of faith, write that book, or do whatever your heart desires. If you are afraid to start, just do it, and do it unapologetically.

One thing that stuck out was that I always said I wanted to move out of that small town and travel the world, and as a 31-year-old woman, I’m doing just that! I went above what I thought was even possible, and I’m living in a new country. It’s crazy how life works. God hears all of your prayers even when it doesn’t happen right away!
The fear of what people might think after reading this blog stopped me from being completely transparent. Now I will take my own advice and silence the little voice in my head. As a thirty-one year old single woman, I am so anxious when it comes to being vulnerable or meeting someone new. These are learned coping mechanisms that I’ve used for so many years to protect myself from being hurt. However, I told myself this year I want to break the cycle and try to actually meet someone. This should be very interesting for me, but I can’t tell you to go out and be courageous if I’m not doing the same!
While on my journey of not letting fear stop me, I also want to focus more on learning more about myself. I’ve created a Self-Love Bingo Challenge to help encourage and dig deeper into who I truly am and what I need to be successful. I would love for you to join me in this challenge.

Until next time, readers! You can always keep up with me by following me on Instagram (@_sheismee_) and TikTok (@sheissmee).
